The winners of the A’ Design Award & Competition get fame, prestige, and of course recognition as this is one of the most prestigious competitions in the world. First and foremost, they get the winners’ kit which includes the 3D Printed Metal A’ Design Award trophy in Black Luxury Box, the annual yearbook which is available in both digital and hardcopy versions, and also a printed design excellence certificate in a metal frame. An invitation for the free gala night for two people is offered to the winners in order to join the award ceremony, as well as a free participation and space allocation in the winners’ exhibition (both online gallery inclusions as well as a physical exhibition in Italy).

The competition offers a big variety of different categories covering all areas of interest. The Interior Design category, for example, is open to either concept stage or realized interior projects designed by professional and young architects and architecture studios. All submissions are evaluated based on various factors such as their degree of innovation, aesthetic qualities, the level of functionality, and usefulness in addition to ergonomics and human interaction.
For every category, there is a specific list of criteria based on which the judges evaluate every submission and decide accordingly. Some of the main categories include the Photography and Photo Manipulation Design Category, the Furniture Design Category, the Interior Space and Exhibition Design Category, the Arts, Crafts, and Ready-Made Design Category, the Landscape Planning and Garden Design Category and the Performing Arts, Style and Scenery Design Category.
